West Virginia's Spring Fling

Thank you to the West Virginia Library Association for inviting us to be part of their Spring Fling 2013! Last Thursday, we delivered a thirty-minute virtual presentation for the conference. Since we were the last thing on the day's agenda before the evening meal, we called the session "Soup Before Supper: An Introduction to TechSoup for Libraries."

This morning, Stephanie Gerding and I delivered a ½ hour Introduction to TechSoup webinar for Oregon public libraries (thank you to the Oregon State Library for organizing this!). The session was designed to introduce staff in Oregon public libraries to TechSoup resources.

Wow, I don't know what I love best about this video...the fact that it is about the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library's media dispenser OR the fact that a patron voluntarily created it as part of a series on why he loves Topeka. It is really nicely done and even includes TechSoup friend Patti Butcher, from the State Library of Kansas!
