On Thursday, August 4, I had the pleasure of assisting in the webinar, Microsoft Donation Program: How Does It Work? With nearly 300 attendees, we had a tremendous response to this webinar, and I wanted to take a moment to thank Meg Creelman and Kami Griffiths, who did a wonderful job presenting the information, as well as Brian Calvert and Cameron Jones, who assisted on the chat. Thanks everyone, for making this such a helpful event!
During the webinar, Meg did a wonderful job outlining the main program updates to TechSoup's Microsoft Donation Program. To read more about these updates, take a look at the recent blog post, Good News! Updates to the Microsoft Software Donation Program.
You can now view the slide presentation, the list of resources, and listen to the recording by clicking here. You can also further the discussion on our community forum at http://bit.ly/msftwebinarforum.
Still have questions? We're holding another webinar on August 11 for that very reason!
Microsoft Donation Program: Get Your Questions Answered
Thursday, August 11, 10 a.m. Pacific time
Each year, the Microsoft donation program provides millions of dollars of software donations to nonprofits and libraries around the world, enabling them to use those financial resources elsewhere. But not everyone who is eligible takes advantage of this program - many people don't know about it and others, we suspect, have some unanswered questions.
This webinar, presented by Kami Griffiths and Penny Clifton, will focus on you and your questions. When you register, please submit your questions using the registration form. We will do our best to group questions and address them all. There will also be time at the end for any additional questions. Our goal is to better inform our community so everyone who is eligible is able to better leverage technology to further their mission.
This webinar is suited for all nonprofits and public libraries in the United States that are interested in requesting a Microsoft donation.
Register today as space is limited!
